CANADA DAY CONCERT ON THE LAKE

Members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra arrived at Wizard Lake on Canada Day to serenade boaters.  We waited as long as possible, but unfortunately the rain did not let up and prevented the musicians from playing on the pontoon boat.

But since the musicians had made the trip and were ready to play, they decided to treat those generous volunteers, who helped with all the organizing, to this water inspired concert, under a tent out of the rain.

Thank you to all the musicians and a special thank you to Ronda Metzsies, cello player, for gathering the musicians and organizing the musical program.

The response from the Wizard Lake community, anticipating this concert, was overwhelming.  Thank you!
